Vikings Record Prediction Weeks 1-3

With the 22’-23’ season fully in the rearview mirrors, let’s now take a look into the future, and make some predictions as to what the Minnesota Vikings will do next season.

Week 1: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Minnesota Vikings

The Bucs are a great team for the Vikings to start their 2023 campaign off with. Solid defense, solid weapons on offense, and a mediocre quarterback that the Vikings would typically make look like a hall of famer. This is the Vikings chance to start the season off strong, silence some of their doubters, and take advantage of a weaker team. I believe the offense will fire on all cylinders, and the defense will start fast, take control, and close out the game.

Week 2: Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles

This is the game that Vikings fans are dreading, traveling back to Philly for another week two prime time showdown. I believe the Vikings will show up this year, and play a solid all around game. However, I think that the Eagles will come out on top, with their defense slamming the door on a potential game tying drive.

Week 3: Los Angeles Chargers at Minnesota Vikings

This matchup looks like a blast. I’m hoping for a shootout that comes down to whoever has the ball last. Both teams are in similar places in their development, and both teams will be trying out their new first round pick wide receivers. Also, Eric Kendricks’ revenge game. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get an interception, or fumble recovery. I have this game as a well earned victory for the Vikings, ending on a Greg Joseph dagger as the final seconds tick off the clock.

Vikings 38, Chargers 35

Starting off 2-1, with a lot of exciting matchups coming up. This should be another exciting Vikings season.
