Jordan Addison Going OFF at Vikings Training Camp

Jordan Addison making plays early in training camp.

The Vikings may have found another elite playmaker at the wide receiver position, and his name is Jordan Addison. The first round draft pick is really starting to make his presence felt at training camp in Eagan. His ability to create separation is very noticeable as he gets open with ease on a majority of his routes. Addison didn’t test that great at the combine, but his speed is also a super underrated aspect to his game. During Monday’s practice, Addison has used a multitude of ways to get open and create separation, and he’s already developed a chemistry with quarterback Kirk Cousins. Jordan got open on a corner route, a comeback route, and then snagged a touchdown by finding a soft spot in the defense.

If the Vikings have found an explosive threat opposite of Justin Jefferson, it is going to cause a litany of problems for opposing defenses. It’ll be exciting to watch Addison on Thursday as head coach Kevin O’Connell confirmed that he will indeed play in the preseason opener in Seattle.
